There are a lot of options on this, so you need to learn the ins and outs of the transcode tool to get the best result and keep from causing problems down the line.įor still images, I am still using the original Import tool. If your media can not be consolidated, you should link via the source browser and then transcode. That is the fastest, highest quality method. In my view (and I think many would agree) when you need to bring media into the Avid managed world, for moving images you should first try to consolidate. So, you say, "Is there any way to make them import." What do you mean by that? ![]() Personally I think they should merge the commands in the next MC version. The slighlty older editors lets users use the import faeture for most clips.
